Bosch’s Flexiclick modular 12V Max drill/driver has officially launched! I’ve been putting the final touches on my review, and in preparing it, I noticed that the kit went on sale.
The Bosch Flexiclick kit was priced at $199, and just before it launched it was available with a $10 preorder discount.
Now, the kit is priced at $169 over at Amazon, reflecting savings of $30.
The Flexiclick is a versatile 5-in-1 cordless drill/driver, with 1/4″ chuck, right angle adapter, drill chuck, offset driver adapter, and a locking bit holder attachment.
The offset and right angle tool heads can be attached in different positions. There are 16 angular orientations in total, allowing the Flexiclick to work in conditions too cramped or obstructed for many other “ordinary” drills or drivers.
The kit comes with (2) 2.0Ah battery packs, a charger, and a carrying case.
Sale Price: $169
I don’t know how long the kit will be at this price, or if it will even expire. I just know that it has a list price of $199, and today I checked the link and the price was $30 lower.

Deal or No Deal?
If you were on the fence at $199, $169 is definitely more appealing. That’s still quite a bit more money than a plain Jane 12V-class drill/driver, but its different attachments definitely have the ability to get woodworkers, installers, and other such users out of tight spots – or work in them, in a literal sense.
While not a heart-pumping “buy now, think later” deal, $30 off is still very good. That’s equivalent to a ~15% discount.
Spoiler: I’m putting the finishing touches on my review (thank you Bosch for the test sample!), and don’t have any complaints so far.
