Dewalt has come out with a couple of new wet/dry shop vacuums.
Shown here is the new Dewalt DXV09P 9 gallon 5 peak HP vac, with built-in tank drain, high performance cartridge filter, 10′ power cord, on-board accessory storage, 1-7/8″ x 7′ hose, and 90 CFM airflow rating.
At the top, the large handle doubles as a cord-wrap, and there’s what looks to be a hose hold-down strap. The caster wheels have a wide stance, which should help to minimize tip-over risks.
Here’s a look at the rear. Hmm – I like the look of what seems to be a canvas accessory storage bag. Hopefully it’s removable or easy to clean.
Overall, the design looks well thought out. Does the US market need another brand of wet/dry shop vacuums? Apparently so. I wonder if we’ll see these in Craftsman branding soon.
It comes with 2 extension wands, a floor nozzle, utility nozzle, and crevice nozzle.
