Bosch PS 32 Brushless Drill/Driver
I’ve written about the Bosch PS32 brushless drill/driver a couple of times recently, but I can’t shake the “gosh I love using this tool” feeling that a post will usually help release for me. So, I’ve added it to this series of “tool picks.”
It’s currently my favorite 12V-class drill, and I don’t see anything changing that anytime soon.

Leatherman Skeletool KB Knife
The Leatherman Skeletool KB knife is a great value. You can read more about it in Anthony’s 5 Great Cheap EDC Pocket Knives post, here.
I bought one in mid-2017, and while it doesn’t see as much use as some of my other pocket knives, I’m quite pleased with it. It’s one more example that you can have a good usable knife without spending a fortune. While it doesn’t hold up against much pricier knives, it’s definitely one of the nicer $25 knives I’ve used.
This version has a plain edge blade, and there’s also the KBX, which has a partially serrated blade and greater choice of handle colors.

Felo Ergonic Screwdriver Bit Holder
Felo Ergonic screwdrivers are amazing. I own a couple of Ergonic screwdrivers, and also bought a bit holder, which allows me to use standard screwdriver bits and still get the same cushioned comfort.
At $15 to $18, the bit holder is a bit pricey to be one’s first foray into the Felo Ergonic product line, but if you’ve ever handled their screwdrivers, you already know what you’re getting. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone complain about these screwdrivers, but I’m sure that not everyone loves the handle shape or the firm but yielding cushioned handle.
Because of that, I’m hesitant to say “BUY IT!!,” but I can say this – keep it on your radar, as this might just be the most comfortable screwdriver bit holder you’ll ever use.

Extech MN24-KIT Electrical Test Kit
These days, I’m able to justify pricier test and measurement equipment. But years ago when I was getting into electronics? Or if I were an average homeowner or DIYer with less demanding needs and a tighter budget? This would have been perfect.
An AC voltage detector is a MUST-HAVE when working on wiring, to ensure that a circuit is deenergized for safety purposes. A receptacle tester can help you identify and troubleshoot issues without having to start pulling devices out of the wall. And a digital multimeter can help with all sorts of diagnostic tasks.
I prefer multimeters with an automatic range selection feature, but a manual range selection feature like on the included meter can be better. Or rather, it can be easier for novices to work with.
At the moment, this kit is $25.01 from a fulfilled-by-Amazon supplier, and $29.80 from Amazon directly. Add Extech’s inexpensive IR thermometer to the mix, and you have a solid homeowner’s test and measurement kit.
I’ve used Extech multimeters before, owning an EX330 multimeter (~$55 via Amazon), and an MN26 ($40 via Amazon). While my needs exceeded their capabilities, they always served me well.
While this Extech kit isn’t priced as low as when I wrote about it in 2017, $25 still seems like a great value for what you get.

I have not used this particular Extech multimeter, although my MN26 is similar but with auto-ranging, and so this is more of a deal highlight than a personal recommendation. It still seemed fitting to include.
