Here are some amusing and interesting posts that I caught this morning:
Bosch promotes their 18V FREAK 2.0 2-in-1 brushless impact driver/wrench with an office tool toss party.
“Get the Freak’n job done with more torque.”
Harbor Freight reposted some photos of tool trucks parked in front of their stores.
I always find it amusing to see tool trucks parked at Home Depot, but everyone’s got some shopping to do.
Mac Tools is showing off their (new?) weatherproof composite tool boxes.
These Mac tool boxes look like specially themed Dewalt ToughSystem tool boxes, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I wish they showed more about the side rails, which look to be different than Dewalt’s wall-mounting ToughSystem rails. It also looks like they’re mounted to standard 80/20-type T-slot extrusions.

Look what showed up today from our friends at @dewalttough . The 12V Max drills and drivers were among the first Dewalt and pro-grade cordless power tools I recieved as test samples, and I still remember the "wow this is light!" sentiments I had with the first unboxings. Compared to 12V and 18V tools at the time, the 12V tools were remarkably easy on the arms. These new Xtreme Subcompact tools benefit from nearly a decade of cordless, Li-ion, and brushless motor technologies. I can't wait to get the tools working! Can't open them right now though, or the kids will want a try. Maybe they'll get a turn over the weekend. (Or after dinner and before their bedtime. Wouldn't be the first time.) I know all of the things I want in 12V cordless drills and drivers – repeatable torque control, light weight, small size, modern features (such as impact speed controls and base-mounted drill lights), and adequate power and application performance. Hopefully the new tools check off most if not all of those boxes. Any questions before I get started? #newtools #tools #cordlesstools #dewalt #drills

And I excitedly shared a picture of the new Dewalt 12V Max Xtreme SubCompact cordless power tools that showed up. (That’s what I’ll be working on today!)
