What can make the new Kobalt 24V Max XTR cordless reciprocating saw even better? I'm sure you've heard about the new @loweshomeimprovement and @kobalttools XTR cordless power tools by now. They're said to offer more power, more performance, and better features. We partnered with them to explore the new tools, and so far I have found all of that to be accurate. If anything, they're being modest, which caught me by surprise. Here's the trouble I ran into: I'm loving this new brushless recip saw so far, as it cuts fast and comfortably. But, I'm trying to figure out if there's anything that can make it even better, and I'm coming up short. With power and performance to spare, the only "wants" I can come up with are a bit ridiculous: 1) Voice commands 2) Automatic extendo-blade that eliminates the need for blade changes 3) Noise-cancelling waveform that plays music as you cut 4) Anti-gravity mode What silly enhancements would you like to see added to the new [and oh so awesome] reciprocating saw? #cordlesstools #tools #newtools #KobaltTools #PickUpThePower #sponsored #lowespartner #lowes

I sometimes wish for flat-free tires, but my cart tires only require once-a-season attention, and so I can’t justify the expense just yet. When cart, dolly, or other small tires go bad and leak all the time, do you replace with basic tires or never-flats? #tools #tires #contractor #gardening #diy

I wish @craftsman made something like this pass-thru socket set from a few years ago. This is the perfect “I don’t want to get my tools” portable socket set for quick tasks. I used the 4mm bit socket and 8mm socket to install a new scraper blade on this @egopowerplus cordless snowblower. #tools #socket #wrenching #mechanicstools #toolset #craftsman #diyer

I love mini Torx drivers (this one’s a @weratoolrebels ) for control and precision, but I always laugh at these for looking too much like a party toothpick. I don’t know where the visualization comes from, maybe because it’s overall dimensions are close to the little toothpick swords? #tools #precisiontools #wera #contractor #diy Smaller Torx drivers can be very useful for #edc and #knife adjustments.

I hated having to double check and fix all of the ceiling air vents. HVAC duct cleaning techs didn’t know how to put the covers back on, and one fell off the ceiling yesterday. But, at least I had a good reason to whip out some cool tools. @dewalttough 12V brushless screwdriver was great (test sample), @wihausa screwdriver (personal purchase) and @gorilla_ladders compact ladder (test sample) made it easier. Also toted around a Dewalt 20V Max vac. I got it all done, but looks like I’ll need to go into attic to better secure outer insulated ducts – that part was a mess, looks like a sloppy installation. Good tools don’t translate to good work, but crappy tools can make everything harder. #tools #dewalt #diy #contractor #cordlesstools
