The new Wera 2020 Advent calendar recently came out, and we posted about it a few days ago.
In that post, Schill commented that Amazon dropped the price of the 2019 version of the Wera Advent calendar to $35.
I have been watching that set, and the price just dropped again, to $30.45.
This set comes with a T-handle 1/4″ hex bit screwdriver handle with locking bit holder, a stubby driver, a couple of sockets, screwdriver bits, a corkscrew, and a bottle opener.
The T-handle driver is the star of the shown. When we discussed this set a year ago, the closest Wera T-handle screwdriver with rapidaptor bit holder I could find was priced at $44-$50.
So basically, if that pricing holds true, you’re essentially buying the T-handle driver and getting all the other bits and accessories for free.
This set is still a good value for the other tools and bits, but I think the T-handle driver and maybe the stubby handle as well make up the brunt of this set’s value.
