I took a look, and it is indeed $199 for the kit. That’s just crazy!
The bare tool by itself is priced at $249. For $199, you get the impact wrench, a 4.0Ah battery, charger, and tool bag.
What’s the catch? Some people prefer detent pin anvils, others prefer hog rings. This one has the detent pin.
The Dewalt DCF899 delivers up to 700 ft-lbs of max torque and 1200 ft-lbs of max breakaway torque. It has multi-speed control.

Some other dealers have this DCF899M1 on sale, but at higher pricing. Tool Nut’s price, for example, is $269.
Looking at ToolGuyd’s deal history and Dewalt sale mentions, I don’t think that this impact wrench kit has ever went on sale like this!
I’ve used this, and loved it. The only negative I could think of was the high – but reasonable – price. This deal is probably going to be the best heavy duty impact wrench bargain of the season.
Looking at price history charts, the kit is typically $319, and it went on sale for $250 during last year’s holiday shopping season. $199 looks to be the lowest price ever on this kit!
