Somehow, Milwaukee’s magicians engineers managed to shrink down their compact impact wrenches by an almost impossible amount.
A few years ago, a product manager told me that even shaving 1/4″ off the length of an impact driver was a great achievement.
Here, taking Milwaukee’s 3/8″ impact wrench as an example, they chopped – not shaved – the length of the tool head down from 5.9″ (2754) to 4.8″ (2854). AND they increased max torque as well.
