This time of year, there are a lot of “special buy” cordless power tool combo kits, usually featuring lower capacity batteries, slower chargers, value-focused drills and impact drivers, and other such compromises. Right now, Dewalt’s DCK694P2 20V Max 6-tool brushless kit is on sale, and it’s nothing but Pro-grade and heavy-duty.
To start off, this kit looks to be regularly priced at $849, according to a quick price search. But right now, it’s on sale for $549.
Unfortunately, it is NOT eligible for any additional coupons, such as the new $50 off $200+ Dewalt promo.
Update: This deal was originally published on 11/28/2019 and republished on 11/23/2020. Last year, the promo was also eligible for added $25 coupon savings, but they wised up for this year. $549 is still an excellent price.

I really like Dewalt’s compact brushless drill/driver, and if you want that, this other HOT Dewalt brushless deal might be for you. But if you want max power, that’s where Dewalt’s DCD996 brushless drill/driver wins favor.
Sure, $549 is a lot of money, but you get a lot for your investment, and this kit doesn’t have any cost-cutting compromises, at least none that I can see.
If you’re looking for lower-priced cordless power tool combo kits, you’re going to get lower performing and less featured tools.
I was hesitant about posting $500+ cordless combo kit deals, but I received quite a few emails and tips about this promo, and I finally took a closer look. $549 looks to be a great price on this Dewalt 20V Max premium cordless power tool combo kit.
